    Lead pastor

    Dewayne and Misty have been married since 2003 and have three beautiful daughters, Ayden, Asher, and Austyn. In the past, they have ministered as Men's Ministry Leader, Mpact Coordinator, and Youth Sponsors before joining full-time ministry as the Youth Pastors in 2015. Dewayne is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and a graduate of SUM Bible College. Misty currently serves as the Embrace Women's Ministry Director. They desire to see people filled with the love of God in a family environment.

    Associate Pastor

    Kenny has attended and served at Open Arms faithfully from a very young age. He is a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God. Prior to becoming Associate Pastor, he ministered as the head of the media department and as a part of the worship team. His wife, Alicia, continues to minister as the MPACT kid’s coordinator. Kenny and Alicia have been married since 2010 and met while attending the youth group at Open Arms. They have a three children, Bradley, Elizabeth, and Micah. Both Kenny and Alicia are passionate about serving and strive to support the community and church they love. They are excited and believe that God has extraordinary things in store for Open Arms.

    CHILDREN's pastor

    Transplanted from California to Arkansas, Rhonda Weeks met and married Dwayne Weeks, a Beebe native, in 1980. They have two children, Trenton (wife, Whitney) and McKenzie Weeks, and two grandchildren, Madelyn and Benaiah. Rhonda has been a member and served the church in various capacities for over 30 years. She serves as the Children’s Pastor and her husband Dwayne serves in several ministries including: teaching Sunday school, children’s ministry team and worship team.  They love each other and the opportunity God has given them to serve Him as a family.

    Youth PASTOR | WORSHIP Leader

    Before feeling the call of God to transition into full-time ministry, Zach was a Jr. High basketball coach for five years. It was during his time coaching and teaching that God began to prepare him for youth ministry. Zach and his wife, Tristan, have been married since 2010 and have faithfully attended Open Arms since 2011. During that time they have served the church in multiple capacities. Zach is the Worship Leader and a member of the security team, Tristan has served in the nursery and is a co-leader to the Embrace women’s ministry, and together they have served as youth sponsors. They have three children, Jack, Daley, and Reden. Zach and Tristan are excited about what God is doing in The House Student Ministries. They are passionate about cultivating an environment where young people can feel fully known and loved by God.

    Office manager | church secretary

    Shirel Renneker is the daughter of Sylvester and the late Erma Brannon, who pastored churches at Hunter, Beebe, Augusta, and Lepanto, Arkansas. Shirel moved to Beebe when her husband Stanley was transferred on his job. She was the Business Manager for Wallace Baker Chevrolet in Beebe for 12 1/2 years. The Lord opened the door for her to become the church secretary at Open Arms Assembly, and she has been in that position ever since. Shirel and her husband Stanley have one son, a daughter-in-law and two beautiful granddaughters. Shirel has attended Open Arms Assembly since 1973. She enjoys reading, collecting cookbooks and mouse figurines, and scrapbooking.

    Travis came to Open Arms when he began attending SUM Bible College at their Beebe Cohort in 2017. He is studying to complete his Bachelors of Biblical Studies with a focus on the ministry of the Prophet. Previously, Travis has worked serving the local church from office administration, to youth & music ministry. In his words, his life is a powerful testimony of Gods resurrection power, as God brought him out of a home of drug addition and poverty. As a result, Travis has been passionately involved with ministry in recovery programs. Currently, Travis is working to develop and employ new ideas for outreach ministry at Open Arms and is serving along side the other staff expectant of great things to come! Travis and his wife Sydney are excited to see what God has in store for them in this season of life.
